What is a BarCamp?

A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. If you want to attend, you are encouraged to give a presentation or a demo of some kind. Have a look at wikipedia for more information. wino kredyt mieszkaniowy sprzedam mieszkanie sprzedam bilet

Resources

BarCampAustraliaResources: a place to put snippets, ideas, and so forth - lets help each other by sharing marketing/recruitment information.

Digital swag: There is a set of banners and other graphics in editable PSD format now on the BarCampCanberra page thanks to Steve Collins - grab 'em, use 'em, and remember they're Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.5 Licensed. Alternatively, buy Steve a taco under the BarCampLicense (hope he likes tacos! Yes, I do - Steve) and use them to your heart's content.

BazCamp: a proposed name to aussify BarCamp .. Depending on the venues and locations we get perhaps we could do BeachCamp?

What needs to be organized

Aside from specifics at each venue and so on.

  • It would be great to enlist the help some people who have actually attended an unconference before (I havn't)
  • We will need someone with experience in setting up streaming,VPN,etc across mulitple locations.
