BarCampBank Charleston (BCBC) is a day-long casual sharing of ideas and viewpoints with a group of people who share your passion for technology, finance and innovation. The aim of BarCampBank is to foster innovations and the creation of new business models in the world of banking and finance.
It's designed to be a free flow of ideas and foster discussions on the future of financial services, particularly related to banking and finance. The program is informal and the sessions are created the morning of the event, based on what participants want to discuss. This allows people to more easily connect with those who have similar interests.
Many aspects of banking will be discussed including the impact of technology, marketing, social media, and more. Remember, the agenda is free flowing and based on attendees interests. So your interests will influence the topics we discuss.
You should attend if you are involved with a financial service company, startup, advertising organization, technology company, or just interested in networking. If you are excited by or curious about innovations that new technologies could bring to the finance world, if you want to present a project, share your ideas or just participate in lively debates with your own experience, this is the place to do it!
