What is it

Following on the success of last years BarCampBournemouth we're doing it again!

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.

Planning is going well but we welcome any ideas you may have, simply add them to this wiki.

You can register an interest at www.barcampbournemouth.com. Tickets will be released Friday 26th March, after this time some tickets may still be available but it is best to register your interest before this date.

Event details

When

Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th April 2010

The event will start Saturday Morning and run on to Sunday afternoon.

Where

The event being held at Bournemouth University after the success of the venue during Barcamp Bournemouth 1. This year we've also managed to negotiate guaranteed opening of the student union bar from 1pm - 11pm.

Where to stay?

We aim to make Barcamp Bournemouth 2 an overnight event, so feel free to stay at the uni all night to talk, hack, play games or whatever you like (within reason). As a bonus, you'll be in the best place to start day 2! If you don't fancy staying in the University all night, Bournemouth is choc full of hotels a short drive/bus ride away from the venue.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! All tickets to Barcamp Bournemouth 2 are free, all funds are raised by sponsorship and donations. This keeps the barcamp open to as many people as possible.

If you're able to offer sponsorship, or know someone who can - details can be found on www.barcampbournemouth.com , there are a range of packages available from £100 - £700. If you are an individual and would like to contribute towards the costs of Barcamp Bournemouth 2, then please visit www.barcampbournemouth.com where you can find more information on sponsorship including the various sponsorship options and benefits they provide you.

Schedule

A BarCamp is a very ad-hoc event, and sessions are scheduled at the event; so it's difficult to put a schedule on-screen. Last years schedule can be found on http://www.barcampbournemouth.org/schedule
