Why Barcamp San Francisco
There hasn't been a BarCamp in San Francisco for at least four years so we're bringing it back. Barcamp SF will comprise of small events dedicated to specific subjects ranging anywhere from local government policy to real estate however, anything goes at BarCamp. With BarCamp SF we plan to bring in the traditional BarCamp ad-hoc style talks with some added twists that are still under wraps for now. Stay tuned for more info or join the staff meetings at 6PM on Wednesdays at Noisebridge 2169 Mission St or email carl@carlsue.com
Attendance Goal
In an effort to make this BarCamp memorable, we have set a goal of having 1000 tickets reserved through our e-ticketing system with another 300 available at the door.
Sponsors
We are currently looking for sponsors and a venue with a guest list of up to 1300 from around the country food, snacks, and booze will be off the charts, therefore we plan to have quite a few sponsor slots available. Interested sponsors should email carl@carlsue.com
Guest Speakers
This year to help reach our goal of 1000 attendees we will be reaching out to guest speakers encouraging them to make plans to have a prearranged talk. If you feel your talk needs advanced advertisement email carl@carlsue.com. Below is a recommended list of speakers in hopes they will get in touch with BarCamp Staff and others. Please feel free to add yourself and get in contact with us if you wish to speak.

Sub-Camps
In an attempt to encourage community larger than just San Francisco we are inviting prearranged sub-camps to sign up for group attendance. Camps should be themed and have advertising so other campers can find interesting groups. Bullets below are available for adding your group.
