Mini-FAQ

  • What's the point?

Building on the success of the initial TorCamp and the first Demo Camp (SignUpHere), we want to continue to develop an active startup community in Toronto. Do you have a tool, a piece of software, a set of scripts, hardware hacks, PowerPoint/Keynote presentation that you want feedback on? Bring it. Show it. wino kredyt mieszkaniowy sprzedam mieszkanie sprzedam bilet

  • Who can come?

Everyone is welcome! Just Edit this page and add your name under Attendees, below, so that we have a rough idea of numbers.

  • What are the rules?

Rule #1 of DemoCamp: Don't talk about DemoCamp ;)

Rule #2 of DemoCamp: No powerpoints allowed. Why no .ppt ? Well, do you have working software or don't you?

  • Do I have to have a demo?

Nope! You are welcome to come along and give feedback to the people who do (or just watch and absorb if you don't feel like talking).

  • Have another question?

Just edit this page, add your question, and someone will answer it for you.

Demo Schedule:

We're all full for demos - stay tuned for DemoCamp 3.0!

  • Special Bonus Session: Wayne Bradley, from Development Associates, will do a quick and informative session about the CCRA's SR&ED tax rebate program and his insights gained from working for the government for eight years and then helping companies making claims for another 12 years. This isn't a demo per se - and definitely not a sales pitch for their services as they aren't looking for new clients, but part of their mandate is community outreach and education about SR&ED. They helped Radiant Core secure a considerable refund in 2004 - come and learn how your R&D efforts can earn you a cheque too.

TorCamper Homework

Everyone who has previously attended a TorCamp event has an assignment. Our ongoing success depends on our ability to find fresh... blood, so you are asked to please bring someone with you who has not attended a TorCamp event previously. Just make sure you add both your names to Attendees list so we know how many people are coming.

Attendees:

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The Radiant Core office is big but it's not infinitely big :) If your name is on this list then we will try to make sure you get a seat. If your name isn't on this list you are welcome to attend anyway but the room will overflow at some point and you might have to stand in the hallway where you won't be able to see the screen. Thanks!
