On Tuesday July 29th, join us for the second New Media Manitoba DemoCamp. This will be an opportunity to get together and see what kind of cool things companies in Winnipeg are doing. Afterward, we hope you’ll hang out for a drink or two and catch up with other new media folk.

This is your opportunity to demo your project!

If you are interested in doing a 10 or 15 minute launch of a recent product or you’d like to display/demo an early prototype of what you are building, we welcome you to sign up at upcoming.org and leave a comment about what it is you plan to show. You do not need to demo a product to attend! We will only have time for 4-presentations so presenters will be selected on a first-register first-demo basis, however, we will take careful note of who is interested in doing a demo, and those people will go to the top of the list for next time.

Tips for DemoCamp presenters – it’s as easy as 1-2-3:

1. you’ve got between 10-15 minutes to present

2. rehearse your talk

3. don’t plan on having wi-fi for your talk

4. absolutely NO Powerpoint slides - do you have working stuff or not?

4. plan to answer questions afterward (no more than 5 minutes)
