WHAT IS DRUPAL CAMP?!?

Modeled in the camp unconference structure, drupalcamp is a no-holds-bars discussion, workshop/code-a-thon involving the open source content management system Drupal. at drupalcamp you ask the questions and the experts provide the answers. at drupalcamp you discover your solutions to your most pressing problems. like previous drupalcamps, there will be a number of break out rooms...

Day 1: After a meet and greet we will split off into 4 rooms (3 if we have a lack of sessions).

  • Beginners Room: Several advanced Drupal Ninja's will take shifts in this room covering the basics of Drupal and its various systems.

  • Sessions 1: Room available for proposed sessions throughout the day these will cover intermediate concepts of Drupal and Howtos - Please Propose a session - Anyone can teach!

  • Sessions 2: Room available for proposed sessions throughout the day these will cover intermediate concepts of Drupal and Howtos - Please Propose a session - Anyone can teach!

  • Advanced Room: This is where the ninjas hang out. They might write a module for drupal - or hold a patch marathon, or just get drunk on power and Redbull.

Day 2: We scale things back a little here.

  • Sessions 1: Same as yesterday.

  • Advanced Room: Macguyver uses Drupal and duct tape to keep the plane from crashing.

  • Optional Third Room: Tell us why we should open it up!

Sponsors

In keeping with Drupal Camp tradition we are providing bagels/muffins, coffee/juices for breakfast and some oh-so-delicious Grimaldies pizza for Lunch. We always do our best to provide Vegetarian (vegan if requested) options.

Sponsors are needed to help pay for these goodies as DrupalCamp is not organization (thus has no cash). Sponsorship can come in various amounts. If you're an attendee chipin a few bucks using the box below. If you're a company consider fully or partially sponsoring Breakfast, Lunch or after-camp drinks.

Breakfast & Lunch drinks (Sodas, juices, etc.) :: At the first Drupal Camp we asked all attendees to bring a drink for themselves and a few extras (like a six pack or so). I thought it worked out great and it would be awesome to continue this.

Folks have been asking if we'll do Tshirts. For this to happen we'd (1) Need a good design, so all you designers post them here or send them to scott.trudeau /at/ gmail /dot/ com and we can decide what we like and (2) we need a sponsor to cover the costs and (3) we need to do all of this ahead of time so we order a good ratio of sizes ... takers?

Use Chip-in to donate some cash to DrupalCamp!
