What is HealthCamp Seoul?
HealthCamp Seoul is an half-day event for anyone involved or interested in Health 2.0 to share their ideas and opinions. HealthCamp is about putting Web technologies, open standards, mobile and social media, and process innovation to work for better health care and health technology.
HealthCamp is a participant-driven conference organized in a BarCamp style, so participants themselves provide the content, with break-out sessions they develop themselves and plug into a schedule grid on the day of the event. In HealthCamp, anyone can present and host a session in nearly any format.
Please join the first HealthCamp in Asia and share your thoughts with others.
Health 2.0 is a movement which was initiated at the first HealthCamp held in San Francisco, 2006. Even though there are several competing or complementary definitions of Health 2.0, it's about participatory medicine. Enabled by information, software, and community that we collect or create, we the patient can be effective partners in our own health care, and we the people can participate in reshaping the health system itself.
