About HealthCampLeeds

HealthCampLeeds is being planned for 2009. It grew out of the series of HealthCamp events that are taking place all over the USA and UK. We plan to run this event either OpenSpace or Ignite style. We will begin the day with lightning talks: a 2-minute talk on something you are passionate about. This is a great way for everyone to describe their interests to the rest of the group and convince others to join them for a dedicated session. So bring your ideas and the floor will be yours.

Audience

HealthCampLeeds is the place for creative medics, innovative business-minded people and inventive developers.

Things To Do

If you plan to attend, please could you:

  1. Prepare a lightning talk. You do not need slides, and the talk itself will only be for two minutes, but what you really need to prepare beforehand is a quick description of why you find something interesting, and why others would do so as well. If you do have slides, could you please forward them to Mark Hawker to reduce the lag transferring between presentations.
  2. Decide what you want to get out of the day. We have some great people coming and their experience makes them a tremendous resource for you. What would you like to do with this resource?
