The Manipal Media Students’ Convention’s is an interface between media professionals, students of media and students interested in media. The convention will be more than just a student event. It will be a formal event which would bring media professionals and students stretching across different colleges of the nation on the same platform.

'Communication through the World Wide Web’ as the theme for this year’s event. Given its freshness compared to other mainstream media, the Internet gives us a wide scope of discussion and innovation.

The convention will have workshops, discussions, conferences, ‘un-conferences’, paper presentations and will provide the students an opportunity to interact with the media professionals from the industry.
