Overview of PCamp Schedule

PCamp will last for two days, Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th.  We are still sorting out the specific timing for the physical and virtual spaces, but here is the overview.  Virtual PCamp will mostly mirror Physical PCamp.

  • Saturday June 27th
    • 9:30 am - doors open to public
    • Early afternoon - lunch break
    • 6:00 pm - last session is complete
  • Sunday June 28th
    • 10:30 am - doors open to public
    • Early afternoon - lunch break
    • 6:00 pm - last session is complete

How PCamp Sessions are Scheduled

PCamp will only partially embrace the open grid method used at BarCamp.  We will provide a series of rooms and timeslots.  In the run-up to the event, the organizing committee will reserve some of the slots for sessions and workshops that we arrange.  The remainder of the slots will be opened to the participants on the day of the conference.

Physical Space Brainstorm

If you have an idea for a session or a workshop, please add it to the grid below.  We'll work with the proposals here to create our list of pre-planned sessions, which we'll then feature them on the main website.  Even if you just have an idea about someone we should contact about doing a session, feel free to add that in.

Hi,

My name is Gabriel Flacks. I'm a teacher at a CEGEP (like a public junior college) in Montreal. Last year, I succesfully piloted a curriculum that ties blogging as an educational tool to active community involvement. During PCamp, I'd be happy to explain this curriculum, and some of my long-term goals for the program which involve cross-campus virtual communication between different groups using the curriculum, with the hope of perhaps finding other educators interested in working with me next year. If there is interest, I'm virtually there!

Thanks!

Gabe Flacks
