  • NYU Woolworth discussed as possible event venue with Roger Smith having afterparty instead of event
  • Decided that sessions should have complexity levels assigned (Novice, Beginner, Intermediate and General or ALL)
  • Decided on three kinds of sponsors
    • In-kind - barter goods and services
    • Cash sponsors
    • Media sponsors - to get the word out
  • Discussed preference for having 501c3 org underwrite finances for event to make all sponsors donations tax-deductible
  • Decided that charging a nominal fee was best for turnout
