BlogCampPune is a free unconference focusing exclusively on blogging, organized by bloggers for bloggers. It‘s built upon the principles of the famous BarCamp (ad-hoc unconference) focussed on sharing, learning and new ideas.
This is going to be an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction between attendees. Any blogger who wants to contribute is welcome and invited to join.
Why We Need Sponsors
BlogCampPune is free to attend, but organizing an event like this incurs many expenses. In order for the event to succeed we need donations from sponsors who want to support and get involved with blogging and social/new media. No one makes money from BlogCampPune. All income and expenses will be made public before the event.
We had to remove this when we finalized our Sponsorship Guide.
Underwriting Specific Expense
We need sponsors who can underwrite specific expenses such as:

Sponsorship Levels
Keeping the spirit of Blogcamp alive and keeping in mind the experiences of Amit Ranjan and Amit Gupta; here is our Sposorship Guide.
We are not looking at huge chunks of money, we would rather be happy with smaller amount of money from various companies and individual as that will help in getting in variety of people.
As we have made it clear that we are planning to raise Rs1 Lc for the event, so we are typically looking for 15 to 20 sponsors who can give us money in range of 5,000 to 20,000. We will be declaring all the sponsors (amount sponsored and money left to raise) on our wiki the day our deal is finalized.
Keeping all these guidelines in mind here are the Levels of sponsorship:
PLATINUM SPONSORS:
(Rs15,000 to Rs20,000)
GOLD SPONSORS:
(Rs10,000 to Rs 15,000)
SILVER SPONSORS:
(Rs 5,000 to Rs10,000)
Blogcamp Pune FRIENDS:
(Any Amount)
THERE CAN BE MULTIPLE SPONSORS AT ALL LEVELS
Benefits to the sponsors:
1. Size of Logo will be in proportion to the amount sponsored.
2. Placement of you logo will according the the Level of sponsorship. PLATINUM being on the top and FRIENDS at bottom. Inside the Levels your placement will be according to the amount sponsored. In case of sponsors with same amount, the priority will be given on First Come First Serve basis.
3. Sponsors Logos will be printed on Blogcamp Banners, which will be placed in every room where the unconf will be held.
4. Every sponsor will get a paragraph on the Sponsors page of our wiki. The length of the paragraph will be in proportion to the amount sponsored.
5. You will be getting attention of 250 bloggers and 100 students. 350 is a big number, I don't recall any unconf in India with such a number.
6. We will be launching a bunch of activities as a run up to the event. The sponsors till that day will be mentioned in all those activities.
7. Logos on Blogcamp Pune T Shirt: We would love put all the sponsors logos on Blocamp Pune, but then our T Shirt will look like a F1 T Shirt and very few people will wear it. So we will keep the logos of only PLATINUM & GOLD SPONSORS on the T Shirt. Size of Logo will be according to the amount sponsored.
8. Logos on Blogcamp Pune Stationary: Logos of only PLATINUM, GOLD and SILVER SPONSORS on the stationary. Size of Logo will be according to the amount sponsored.
9. Logos of Platinum Sponsors will be put on the Blogcamp Pune Sponsors wall.
10. PLATINUM Sponsor can setup a corner for themselves at the venue where they can run contests or other campaign, keeping in mind the spirit of Blogcamp Pune.
Points to stress:
1. Please don't sponsor BlogCampPune as a favor to us. Do this if it makes sense for you or your business. We don't anticipate a shortage of sponsor interest.
2. If we had to choose between you attending the event and you sponsoring the event, we'd much go for you attending the event.
3. None of us are in this thing for money, we are all here for the love of Blogosphere and it's betterment.
