MartinCleaver of Blended Perspectives Inc. runs a monthly get-together in Toronto, typically on the Second Tuesday of each month, to discuss Wikis.
Technology is incidental to the effect: *uses* are core: impacts on culture, innovation, and what-a-wiki-can-do-for-you are all fair game.
Each month we seek an anchor talk, with suggestions of who to lead coming from participants. Martin runs a round table of discussion to ensure everyone gets their question and opinion heard.
We proudly run this event is as an Open Space. That is, the topics of conversation are determined by who shows up. Every participant or would be participant is responsible for nudging the event towards what they want. This can be: wino kredyt mieszkaniowy sprzedam mieszkanie sprzedam bilet

Blog reviews:
Article inspired by this group:
- We'll likely compare some wiki-technologies (e.g. TWiki, Confluence, Socialtext, TikiWiki) and talk about what really makes a difference for effective wiki-adoption.
We'll anchor the evening's round table on an update from RoCoCo:
-1- Recent Changes Camp in Montreal.
Also:
-2- the "state of the industry"
-3- overview of common steps companies go through to become wiki enabled
HiMY SYeD of Torontopedia! will be present seeking input on improving the Toronto city wiki.
Thanks, ~ HiMY SYeD ~
Then it's open question and an opportunity to share-your stories, with plenty of opportunity for break out to socialize, and constant joking and our usual merriment.
Throughout we'll take a fun few minutes to take video clips toward a YouTube advertisement, which, all things going well, I'll stitch together to help promote our April meeting.

"Peer Production works best when at least three conditions are present:
1 The object of production is information or culture, which keeps the cost of participation low from contributors
2 Tasks can be chunked out into bite-sized pieces that individuals can contribute in small increments and independently of other producers (i.e. entries in an encyclopedia or components of a software program). This makes their overall investment of time and energy minimal in relation to the benefits they receive in return.
3. The costs of integrating those pieces into a finished end product, including leadership and quality-control mechanisms, must be low" -- WikiNomics, page 70
Questions:
1. We'll explore the nature of peer production, and give some examples.
1. We'll ask the audience to hypothesise for the organisation they work for or one in their lives (e.g. a charity):
Cheers, Martin.

*Speakers wanted*
If you have a story you would like to tell, whether that is for 5, 15 or 30 mins, do please leave your name here.
I'm keen to arrange for speakers to make this more than the casual chats we have had in the past, and I need some help to arrange speakers. Basically I'm looking to arrange 2-3 company insiders to talk. These could be people who have used a wiki to implement organisational change. The result could have been intentional or emergent, but I'd like to see if we can appreciate where this has actually happened in Canada.
