Items discussed

- Toronto is missing the startup network found in, for example, Waterloo (university-related) and Kanata (Mitel-related), with TorCamp a potential seed but lacking many actual startups

- Where are the success stories of Toronto's startups? - to inspire and encourage ("I've done it and you can too")

-- Where can we get these? e.g. Rotman school of Management?

- What steps must startups go through? e.g. common vision

- What can we do to get more ideas generated?

-- e.g. hack days (not necessarily of code, but of ideas, user experience, design slam, business plan)

- How do wannabe entrepreneurs find a startup to join?

-- Where can people advertise their skills/interests, etc? Linked-In?

- How does a startup get staffed up?

- What base documents that address matters such as legal foundation?

- What base documents for company formation, e.g. vesting restricted stock?

- What legal professionals can the community tap?
