About BarCampI2IT :

 

BarCampI2IT is going to be a ad-hoc un-conference organised by the Post Graduate (Management & Technology) Students of I2IT where participants will discuss and share their knowledge / ideas / suggestions about Emerging Technology, Softwares, Networking, Management, Innovation, Web, Opensource, Entrepreneurship etc. by giving sessions, moreover personally interacting with each other.

 

Anyone with something to Share or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to BarCampI2IT.

Main Objectives of BarCampI2IT are:

·To offer a platform to individuals for Sharing Knowledge / ideas.

·Bridging the gap between student and industry (Interaction among students, industry professionals & Professors).

·Open Learning Experience.

·Open Networking.

 

 

About BarCamp :

 

What's this all about? 

BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.  

 

Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join.

 

When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers.

When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world.

NO SPECTATORS, ONLY PARTICIPANTS

 

Attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one, or otherwise volunteer / contribute in some way to support the event. All presentations are scheduled at the day they happen. Prepare in advance, but come early to get a slot on the wall. The people present at the event will select the demos or presentations they want to see.

Presenters are responsible for making sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations are published on the web for the benefit of all and those who can’t be present.

 

 

 

 

The Rules of BarCamp

 

 

  • 1st Rule: You do talk about BarCamp.

  • 2nd Rule: You do blog about BarCamp.

  • 3rd Rule: If you want to present session, you must write your topic and name in a session slot.

  • 4th Rule: Only three word intros.

  • 5th Rule: As many sessions at a time as facilities allow for.

  • 6th Rule: No pre-scheduled sessions.

  • 7th Rule: Sessions will go on as long as they have to or until they run into another Session slot.

  • 8th Rule: If this is your first time at BarCamp, you HAVE to present a session. (Ok, you don't really HAVE to, but try to find someone to present with, or at least ask questions and be an interactive participant.)
