What is a Barcamp?
A barcamp is an informal gathering of people interested in startups, technology, education, media, travel and popular culture. We talk about the projects we are working on and try to learn from each other. If this is your first barcamp, please check out the visual guide to barcamps.
Here is a video from BarcampSG4 held at IDA in November 2009. Just to give you an idea of how Barcamps work.
Previous barcamps in Singapore were hosted by Singapore Polytechnic, the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), Ngee Ann Polytechnic, NUS extension and NTUC center and supported at various times by Yahoo!, Google, Sun, Motorola, Siemens, Brandtology, Opus, Sqlview, E27 and the tech community.
