Can Volunteer for Pre event Activities as well as During the Event.

*Pre-event activities - will require you to spend 2-3 hrs any time between 17th and 19th Jan i.e 2 days before the event.

• Getting the stationary ready
• Getting the infrastructure ready at the venue

1. Wifi
2. Mattresses/Chairs
3. Audio systems (Speakers/Mic)
4. Projectors and screens

• Creating the venue map

*Pre-event setup - will require you to be available at the venue by 5pm on 18th Jan. i.e the day before the event.

• Putting up banners
• Setting up the registration desk
• Testing Wifi availability
• Putting up directions to rooms/halls/parking/canteen
• Setting up the catering area

*During event activities

• Taking mugshots of the participants
• Manning the registration desk
• Distribution of stationary, stickers and t-shirts
• Coordinating catering
• Updating schedules on the wiki

*Special activities

• Live blogging
• Photo coverage - take photos tag them and upload them to photo sharing sites of your choice
• Video coverage - take videos tag them and upload them to video sharing sites of your choice
• Live video coverage - ustream.tv anyone? requires you to bring in laptop with webcam & mic and Flash 9
