BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.Some of you may already have attending the Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester BarCamps and we would love it if you could come along to Shipley, Bradford to share you ideas on April 19.

Registration

Register here by adding you name to the BarCampers list below or at the Facebook Group (which will be set up shortly). Discussion is taking place either on this wiki or on Facebook. 

Event Details

Cost: Nothing, Nada, FREE and we will feed and hydrate you too. AND we might give you a FREE T-shirt too!

Register at 9.30 starts at 10.00. Wraps up at 5.30 followed by beers and banter

Travel: Regular rail service from Leeds. If you’re driving offer to car share.

The Rules of BarCamp

Rule 1: You do talk about BarCamp.

Rule 2: You do blog about BarCamp.

Rule 3: If you want to present, you must write your topic and name in a presentation slot.

Rule 4: Only three word intros.

Rule 5: As many presentations at a time as facilities allow for.

Rule 6: No pre-scheduled presentations, no tourists.

Rule 7: Presentations will go on as long as they have to or until they run into another presentation slot.

Rule 8: If this is your first time at BarCamp, you HAVE to present. (Ok, you don't really HAVE to, but try to find someone to present with, or at least ask questions and be an interactive participant.)
