BarCamp Bradford has been credit crunched!
We were planning to run BarCamp Bradford in Shipley College, on Saturday, April 18 and, while interest has been very high, we have struggled to secure enough sponsors to cover the running costs, food and drink.
Apologies to all those who expressed an interest in attending or presenting but BarCamp Bradford has now been cancelled.
We’ve noticed that BarCamps in Galway, Delhi, Bangkok and the UK Youth Engagement BarCamp has also recently been pulled so the North of England is victim of a global trend.
However, we will do a BarCamp later in the year when we are confident we will get some solid sponsorship on board. Watch this space.

BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees. Some of you may already have attending the Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester BarCamps and we would love it if you could come along to Shipley, Bradford to share your ideas on April 18. Watch the video below to see how a BarCamp works.
