Schedule

BarCamp will start both days at 10 AM.  The first event will be in Lopata 101 at 10 AM.  This event will be the introductions and the unveiling of the schedule board.  Being at the first event will help you guarantee a good time slot for the talk you'd like to give.  The rest of the schedule will be determined during the first presentation and and during the rest of the conference.

How to Get There

The event will be happening on the Washington University Danforth Campus, this is accessable via several public transportation options (recommended) or driving.

This map is provided to help find parking and find your way around town.

Driving

The event will be happening the Washington University Danforth Campus.  This campus is in between Forest Park Pkwy, Skinker, Forsyth, and Big Bend.  Coming from the West the best approach would be either to take 64 East to 170 North to Forest Park Pkwy East and go to Skinker and turn right (South) and then turn on to Brookings Drive.  The Google Map provided above can give much better directions though.

Parking

Washington University is providing free parking to visitors during the weekend.  The best location to park is listed as large P on the Google Map, it is important to remember to park in the YELLOW areas of the parking to keep from being ticketed.  The signs are located above eye level on the front street light poles.

Public Transportation

MetroLink

The Metrolink Blue Line runs West<->East and has a stop at Skinker and Forest Park Parkway, this is the closest MetroLink station to the event.  More information for planning can be found here.

MetroBus

There are several MetroBus stops in the area, more information can be found via these timetables and the interactive map.

How to Help

Planning

All planning is happening on the mailing list, please join the Google Group if you are interested in helping.

Sponsoring

Washington University is providing us with the space for free, but that still leaves many costs available to help with.  Sponsoring can be providing us with the money we need to acquire needed resources, but even better would be to just provide us with the resources instead.  There is information here about sponsoring here.  If you would like to be a sponsor please join the Google Group and let us know.

Day Of

To help with the day of type activities just be there and be on the lookout for things that need to be done, this is a self organizing event so if something needs to be done get some people together and do it!
