The 2009 STL BarCamp will be held October 24 and 25 after The Strange Loop.  The location is still to be determined.

 

Please edit this page or comment if you'd like to help or intend to attend so I know.

 

The first thing we need is a location.  The location needs to be:

  • free
  • have one large room for the initial meetup
  • several smaller rooms for each track
  • preferably open for use the whole weekend

 

Ideas:

  • contact universities (SLU, Wash U, UMSL) and see if any of them would be willing to loan us some space
  • find local businesses that would be willing to trade the space to put up some ads about their product
  • find local recruiters who would be willing to trade space to hand out cards, whatever

 

 

Other thoughts:

 

  • Do we want food?  Can we find a sponsor for it?
