BarCampApache will be held November 4th 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana!

 

So what is BarCampApache?

 

New this year, ApacheCon US 2008 will host its own unconference! Coinciding with the second day of the ApacheCon Hackathon event, Barcamp Apache is a free dynamics get-together open to the public. Like other unconferences, the schedule will be determined by the participants.

 

The Apache Software Foundation provides support for the Apache community of open-source software projects. The Apache projects are characterized by a collaborative, consensus based development process, an open and pragmatic software license, and a desire to create high quality software that leads the way in its field. We consider ourselves not simply a group of projects sharing a server, but rather a community of developers and users. This year, as an extension of ApacheCon US 2008 we're hosting a BarCamp! All of the details will be posted on this site as we get closer to the event. Check the updates page for the latest details.
