While Wikis are great, they can not by themselves serve of the collaboration needs of a community. This page is for listing the collaboration tools and spaces that BarCampBank could use.

The recent acquisition of JotSpot by Google makes Google a good candidate to host BarCampBank's collaboration needs. Google offered already useful tools like shared spreadsheets, calendars.. JotSpot incorporates also a Wiki engine (that I have not tested yet). Because collaboration spaces usually need administrators with the privilege to add new users, we may have to settle the process of the BarCampBankBoard and let the board have the administrator's rights on the chosen space. The ideal is to have spaces where there is a public anonymous access for many resources and a registered access for things like calendars, mailing lists,.. -- FredericBaud
My current view is that the BarCampBank's dynamics would be greatly enhanced if we could have a virtual space where we could organize efficiently virtual BarCampBank's sessions at a regular pace. We would need something like the video conference side, the agenda tools, possibly online spreadsheets to synchronize actions, wikis, mailing lists,...
