The BarCampBank's MissionStatement has been discussed during our BarCampBankFlashMeeting1. For the moment, we could foresee to work and split the groups on five inter-connected clusters :

  1. WikiThinkTank about the future of the bank.
  2. Reputation karma, KarmaInitiative --> a technical aspect. How the karma could complete/help/replace the old scoring system used in traditional banks.
  3. P2PBank (people to people) --> Credit's long tail
  4. Micro-credit -> micro-financement towards entrepreneurship and associations -> WikiVenture
    1. detect innovative projects via BarCamp international networking
    2. select them via an OpenProcess of community-decision-making
    3. seed-money from a piggy-bank dedicated to BarCamp projects (from xK USD to 100K USD)
  5. Opportunities to integrate and distribute web 2.0 services to customers (this section will be developed soon)

I go ahead with 5 splits/branches-suggestions written in WikiWords for our group :

But I'm not sure. Pehraps I'll try to give a french version to be checked with DylanDevillers to feedback this week-end. Any help in english language will be welcome. Thanks. -- ChristopheDucamp

Hi Christophe, I would like to suggest that WikiVenture and WikiNet concepts are very related, at least in my own mind. I will try to explain this on the WikiVenture page. The only other things that I think we are missing here are:
