We'll set aside a small office in 151 Forrest Ave, in the co-working space at Socialtext, for kids. Toys, legos, and if we can get a babysitter, it will make things lots easier for parents at BarCampBlock!

 

Sign up here to help organize kid care, to run a kids' programming event, or to volunteer on the spot to do an hour of kid duty.

 

JamesLevy - My girlfriend is great with kids. I'll try to get her down, but it would be good to know what age kids will be around.

LizHenry - will hang out with kids for an hour or so on Saturday, an hour on Sunday

DannyObrien - can do the same

LeahCulver - I can babysit as needed so parents can go attend presentations. I don't have any toys to bring, but I'll stop by the kid space at 11 am on Saturday to see what I can do.

 

GabeWachob wonders what age kids we're talking about? Anybody have an idea for entertainment for kids? My kids are probably too young to be independent from me for any real length of time... but this is a great idea!
