What's The Big Idea?

Welcome to the initial planning phases of BarCampCapeTown. The idea is to bring the South African tech/geek/creative community together under one roof in the informal "un-conference" environment as per the Bar Camp Ethos. Think of it as Open-Source conferencing, this is YOUR conference, you present, you discuss, you attend, you spread the word.

Time

15/06/06: 20:00 till late (Pre-event social and ice-breakers)

16/06/06: 9:00 till late (Main Event)

Somewhere in Cape Town. Venue TBA. Ideas?

.. a sponsored/free venue I assume?
