TTHE KNOWLEDGE FOUNDATION is pleased to announce Bar Camp Chennai 4 to be held on June 27 at Cognizant Auditorium. BarCamp is an open, welcoming, anytime-in-a-year event for geeks to camp out for the day with wifi and smash their brains together. It’s about love and geekery and having a focal point for great ideas. It’s a typical unconference . This is the fourth edition of Barcamp to be held at Chennai The event will be free to attend or very close to free. But there's a catch! Participants are expected to contribute back to the conference by participating actively. "Active participation" might mean giving a presentation on any chosen topic, helping with a presentation, blogging or podcasting the event, or whatever other creative ways to contribute people can come up with. Some view Barcamp as an opportunity for great minds to come together to discuss on the latest issues and solutions available for them. This edition of the event is sponsored by Cognizant. Discussion will revolve around latest trends in Technology like Cloud Computing, Mobile Technologies, Open Source Technologies, Social Media and lots more. It will be a day long session starting from 9 am to 6 pm.
Discussion initiators please do send in your presentation to 202thomas@gmail.com or advertiseram@gmail.com on or before July 25th. Kindly co-operate. This is done only to enhance the quality of the event.
Sponsorship details are put up here http://bit.ly/asZdpr.

Orientation
BarCamp is an unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. The BarCampChennai focusses on Web 2.0, Social Media and Next Generation Internet.
BARCamp is an open, welcoming, once-a-year anytime-in-a-year event for geeks to camp out for a couple days with wifi and smash their brains together. It’s about love and geekery and having a focal point for great ideas, like FOOcamp but open.
The event will be free or very close to free. But there's a catch! Partipants are expected to contribute back to the conference by participating actively. "Active participation" might mean giving a presentation, helping with a presentation, blogging or podcasting the event, or whatever other creative ways to contribute people can come up with.
There is no audience. Only participants! This is unlike any conference you have been to before. It's new, it's different and it's going to happen in our city. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join. When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers. When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world.
NO SPECTATORS, ONLY PARTICIPANTS
You can learn more about BarCamp here:
