Bar Camp Dallas II
Time to kick it off again, this time were going world wide as part of BarCampEarth.
The information's a little thin right now (this is a polite way of saying there's lots of work to be done between now and August), so take a minute to add your suggestions and ideas to this wiki, and sign-up on the attendees list (or better yet the organizers).
Looking forward to an event that builds on the great foundation laid by BarCampDallasI!
New Logo? who's up to the task?
Where
Need to find a location. Ideas?
Pros: has a meeting space and facilities (the DFW.pm perl mongers group meets there as well as some other local user groups), lots of (free) parking.
Cons: BYO(food & drink) AFAIK. Probably not big enough for more than 50ish people.
Contact info: (972)470-9600, info@nerdbooks.com
(I've never been here, but I've heard it is nice and is quite large. Might be good for projected attendance in the hundreds. This option would probably require some form of corporate sponsorship.)
Contact info: (214)800-8000
When
August 19-20, 2006
Coinciding with BarCampEarth a simultaneous worldwide unconference.
