Was BarCampWorldwide -- now, BarCampEarth -- a simultaneous compendium of Barcamps around the world happening simultaneously with FooCamp.

 

ScottBrooks is suggesting that eDome (http://edome.cambrianc.on.ca/about.htm) in Sudbury might be available as a central facility for broadcasting. It's on the Internet2 network with massive bandwidth fiber connections and has a full digital broadcasting and production facilities.

I have made the requests for the facility and seeing how we can make this work. As i have more information i will be sure to pass it along to the community. I believe that we will be able to get things moving.

 

I'd like to collaborate with MichaelHerman (who facilitated RecentChangesCamp) to find good software for holding distributed collaborative sessions - I know it's out there, and Michael has used some of it. It's important that it be platform neutral, democratic, friendly, and visual. Let's see what we can come up with. DeborahHartmann
