The fifth BarCamp at Hyderabad ended up tremendous! IN keeping with the products and startups spirit, we had asked Hysea (Hyderabad Software companies' association) to talk about their push for IP and products. Suheim Sheikh, Founder of SDG (now part of 3i-infotech), who now heads the Products Initiative at Hysea, came and spoke briefly on Hysea and the Products' push. This was followed by a talk from Prasad Y (Co-founder of Teleonto), also active in startup circles in hyderabad, to share his ecperiences starting up Teleonto.

Carried by the momentum, in a sidebar discussion, right there the next barcamp took shape! We decided to conduct a "Products Barcamp"! In conjunction with Hysea & TiE. We will have Abt 40 demos of recent new products from Hyderabad. Including the products that were shortlisted for the Hysea annual product awards this month.

• Showcase product successes from Hyderabad (like Pramati, sdg, cordys,..)
• Get successful entrepreneurs to share first hand perspective on key facets for startups &,
• Conclude, with discussing the eco-system we will have in hyderabad for new startups
• We may also announce the Products Registry we are creating under Hysea.

The details should firm up over the next few days. Theme being- highlight products momentum in Hyderabad and encourage new products startups. We will be approaching various stakeholders and players in the startup ecosystems (like few leading hardware vendors that provided computing resources, angel investors, TiE for mentorship, academic institutions like IIIT-H for research support, and more).
