Theme for BarCampJozi 2011 - Beyond 2012

BarCamp Johannesburg is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.

The theme is Beyond 2012 and a look at what the future brings.

Everyone is encouraged to present anything that they feel other geeks would find interesting. Have a look at past events for the the varied topics covered:

Event details

When: Saturday, 3 December 2011

The official kick-off is 10am on Saturday and end around 6pm. If there is enough topics we'll extend this to the Sunday to accommodate more people.

Where: We secured an awesome venue for BarCamp 2011 - Canto Latino, Rivonia

The directions from Johannesburg:

• Take Rivonia Road offramp and drive towards Sandton City
• After you pass The Grand turn left into 9th Avenue
• Cross over Rivonia Boulevard
• Park inside Rivonia Square and find Canto Latino on 1st Floor
