The BarCamp License

Hopefully this answers all your silly questions about the "BarCamp License" that I sort of made up at BarCampTexas.

What is the point of the BarCamp License

The BarCamp License is loosely based on the Beer-ware license. I used the BarCamp License for my Bonsoir  application which I wrote in around 6 hours before BarCampTexas in the epoch cafe in Austin. Hopefully it will get you some free food for your BarCamp hacks :)

What is the BarCamp License

The original text of the license can be found here

The BarCamp License (Revision 1):

< tyler@bleepsoft.com > wrote this code. As long as you retain this notice you can do whatever you want with this stuff.

If we ever meet at a BarCamp, and you think this code is worth it, you can buy me some tacos in return.

What is Bonsoir?

"Bonsoir" is a play on words, it's a vCard sharing application that I wrote to allow my fellow Mac "BarCampers" and myself to quickly and easily share our Address Book cards with each other. You can grab the universal binary of it here  and the source from here. I blogged about it here as well.
