Planning Meetings - General Info

Meet at The Shakespeare EC1M 7AA

Meet at the Barbican Arts Centre

In the open space on the first floor (it's a mezanine floor) within sight of the "Barbican Library" sign as per this photo.

It's free, it's "public", and on Mondays and Tuesdays it's normally quiet!

UPDATE 1 @iamdanw is reporting on Twitter that public areas of the Barbican building are closed off for a private event. @cbetta and @ProactivePaul are figuring out if another venue is possible. -tom, 2009-07-14 16:11:36 GMT+1

UPDATE 2 We are looking into an alternative meetup place now, but we advice anyone to meet up at the Barbican anyway and we'll regroup from there. My number is: 07518397784 if you want to know where we are. -cristiano, 2009-07-14 16:26:14 GMT+1

UPDATE 3 @proactivepaul just said that the new meeting place is The Shakespeare on Goswell Road, at the junction with Fann Street. Closest tube is Barbican: about 100m north of tube station (turn left from tube exit on Goswell Road). -tom, 2009-07-14 17:09:20 GMT+1

Barbican Meeting Space

Meet at 7.30pm for a prompt start at 8.00pm

Bring your own food and drink if you want to, or buy it at the Barbican Bar at Barbican prices!

Anybody needing food afterwards might find that Vecchio Parioli on Aldersgate St is the nearest reasonably priced eatery!

Answer this question - "when we get to the end of this meeting, how will we know if we've had a good meeting?"
