Do we still restrict the presentations to 15 minutes? Je pense que ça a bien marché la dernière fois... Aussi je propose un nouveau format, des "high five", des toutes petites présentations de 5 minutes, share a tip, a trick, an information with the community. That should be fun and entertaining and gives a small step opportunity to someone that could prefer this mini-format. I also have a few roundtables/panels to prepare, got some interest in "girls in tech" panel from a few potential participants... --SylvainCarle

Attendees / Les Participants

IMPORTANT: There is no way to contact attendees if there are changes to the event, i.e., location, after-conference location, cancellation, etc. This means that announcements will be posted on the BarCampMontreal2 page, or the BarCampMontreal Google Group.

IMPORTANT: On ne possède aucun moyen de rejoindre les participants. Alors, dans le cas où il y aurait des changements à apporter à l'évènement (par exemple le lieu de la conférence et de l'après conférence, son annulation, etc.), toutes les annonces seront affichées sur la page web de BarCampMontreal2 ou au groupe google BarCampMontreal.

• Tamu sez: I can't think of anything to talk about, but I'd like to volunteer to clean things up at the end of the day. Do you have a task for me during BarCamp? You can ask me, but any advance warning would be nice.
• Julien Gilli: Same thing as Tamu, I just saw on the website that a Barcamp is taking place on Saturday and I'd really like to attend, but I can't think of something useful to do. So feel free to tell me how I could contribute to this event, I'll try my best to find out something myself though.

• Keith Tom: I hate to say it, but I'm in the same situation. I just found out about this yesterday, and don't have anything to present. I would like to help in anyway possible but I might not be able to stay for clean up at the end... is this okay? perhaps I can come really early and help with setup? I will try to do this unless you guys can think of another need for me. Thanks!

  • Yes, participation is in the larger sense, a broad term, giving a hand to place chairs or distribute nametags is ok too!
