How to Reach IIT Bombay, the Venue

Why?

An opportunity to share and learn about interesting ideas, opportunity to meet and share your ideas, services or products with like-minded individuals.

How?

Read here!

What?

Literally - anything. But topics tend to be technology oriented, so if you are a geek, you should feel right at home.

Product/service demos are welcome as long as they are fresh, new, geeky and interesting to the audiences. Don't demo the latest laser printer with 17% faster page throughput, special discount to attendees - audiences will vote with their feet and walk out on you! :)

Anything goes - if you have something interesting to show or talk about, then you should be presenting at the barcamp!

Remember, barcamps are not spectator events - the are participant events!

Cost?

There is no entrance fee. You can buy snacks at the canteen, and we are arranging for lunch.

Equipment?

We will have wireless networking and Internet access, so feel free to bring your wireless notebook or PDA along to take notes, do live blogging, upload photos, etc. If you have a digital still or movie camera, please use it with abandon.

Just remember to register the equipment at the gate when you come in - they let anything in, but taking it back out again will be an issue if you don't register it! :)

Publicize?

Blog with abandon, call the newspapers and TV stations, shout out in forums and mailing lists - this is a Mumbai event, let them know!
