Quelques pistes :
Il y a un changement d'architecture logicielle tous les 15 ans:
- années 60 tout sur serveur: mainframe + vt100
- années 80 client-serveur : windows/os2, base de données relationnelles
- années 90 web: app server + browser (vt100 avec images et polices de caractères)
En 2009 on vit un retour du client-serveur avec deux tendances :
- infrastructures de cloud computing avec des bases de donnees non relationnelles qui montent en charge à des tailles et charges énormes mais ressemblent plus aux bases de données hiérarchiques d'antan (IMS)
- le browser a rattrapé les clients lourds en termes de capacites: html5, base de donnee locale, applications offline, workers, video, audio, graphiques vectoriels 2d, géolocalisation
Ajoutons à ça des APIs pour accéder au graphe pour utiliser la géographie (cartes, géolocalisation): il n'a jamais été aussi facile de passer d'une idée a une application qui rende un service utile à des millions d'utilisateurs.
Dans ce Barcamp on parlera de ces tendances et on aidera les developpeurs qui ont envie de coder à démarrer sur une ou plusieurs de ces technos:
- html5
- gwt
- appengine
- opensocial
- google maps
- google earth (kml)

Le BarCamp est une "non-conférence ouverte qui prend la forme d'ateliers-événements participatifs où le contenu est fourni par les participants qui doivent tous, à un titre ou à un autre, apporter quelque chose au Barcamp. C'est le principe "pas de spectateur", "tous participants".
