Venue Checklist
Here is a quick little grid we can use to post what we find out about venues!
I've put the ocean and TTR in as examples.

Stuff we absolutely have to have
- Parking for ~100 people
- Power
- The possibility of internet (even if its temporary)
- Spending the night (this seems to be a big one)
- 3-6 separate rooms for presentations (TTR has 3 + courtyard)
- One large area for congregating, announcements etc
- Enough space for 1/4ths of people to spend the night
- Restrooms that aren't filthy
- Event Insurance (if the venue doesnt have it)
- Does the venue have a preferred venue for catering?
- Is the venue a contribution to our cause (free) or for cash?
- How much notice do they need for us to commit?
- Are there any permits required?
Stuff that would be helpful
- If the venue has tables, and chairs
- If the venue has internet already
- If the venue has projectors, and a screen
- If the venue has a PA system or tv's on walls
- If the venue has a bar, or refrigerators - places to keep food/drink/water/etc
- If the place has large trashcans or cleanup equipment handy
