The Career Counselor Technology Gathering is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for career counselors to share and learn about new and useful technologies in an flexible environment. It is an interactive and fun learning event with discussions, demos, and contributions from attendees.

Elon University, School of Communication (travel & location information to come)

Rough Schedule

10-12

  • organized introductions
    • success/failure/what you’re hoping to learn
  • “cool stuff”, each participant presents one
    • tech on the horizon + group brainstorm on how it meets career center needs

12-1:30

  • lunch is unstructured, information on walkable (or close-to-drive) locations will be provided

1:30-4

  • as a group, determine afternoon conversation topics & schedule
  • reconvene, share highlights
  • how do we keep the community going?
