Let's Roll Our Own YouTube at BarCampVancouver

 

Session/project idea facilitated by Bryan Zug

 

There is an open source recipe floating around the net for Rolling your own YouTube (original concept from Daniel’s Random Mutterings, found via Flash Insider). As Roland Tanglao and I were talking about webcasting and archiving the video for BarCampVancouver, I sent him the formula and said, "Why don't we try doing it?"

 

Now Roland and I are hot on the idea (using Drupal and Amazon's S3 Simple Storage Service) and we need your help to make it happen.

 

Let's get a discussion going here to figure out what we need to do to make this happen.
