BrightGreenCamp is an 'open source' gathering - an unconference - based on the BarCamp phenomena. Born from the desire to connect the various clusters of seattle's progressive communities to share their brightgreen solutions with each other, it is an intense event with discussions, demos, where every attendee is expected to share and learn in an open environment.

The hosts believe that the tools, models and ideas for building a better future lie all around us. That plenty of people are working on tools for change, but the fields in which they work remain unconnected. That the motive, means and opportunity for profound positive change are already present. That another world is not just possible, it's here. We only need to put the pieces together.

Our goal is to unleash the entrepreneurial spirit of this community for good and concetrate it towards creating sustainable peace, prosperity, and happiness for all in our lifetime.

Remember

Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men's blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, but long after we are gone will be a living thing, asserting itself with ever-growing insistency. . . .Think big.
