BzaarCamp – Milan, Saturday Sep 30th 2006

What is BzaarCamp? Think of it as a bazaar or, in other words, as a way to get individuals from the tech/geek, art, digital, media, gaming communities together in Milan. What will happen during the event? Only one thing is certain: It's up to you to decide! The most important thing you should take away from the event? Ideas and relationships with other people!

(You can find out more about the BarCamp movement and the rules and principles of being an attendee on the RulesOfBarCamp page. Please make sure you understand what a BarCamp is before you sign up!)

Go Bzaar! Find out details and organize your experience (travel, accomodation) in the BzaarCampLogistics page!

How - Italian or English?

Please help us keeping this wiki international, as to allow participation and contribution from non-Italian speakers too.

As for the Camp itself, if no foreigner shows up, the event will be obviously held in Italian. Likewise, in the event of non-Italian speaking attendees, please consider helding your presentation in English, or arrange to have a translator.

When

Saturday Sep 30th, 2006, starting around 10am end "cleaning up" at 8pm.

What about a drink or pizza after the event? Maybe an Idearium DrinkLink?!

And how many are interested / willing to have that ? Can come useful to plan the going home schedule - kOoLiNuS

What

I would like to hear about...

Topics you are interested in and think others could bring to the table

  • agile development tips'n'tricks
  • rails vs. django vs. whatever...
  • comic strips on the net
  • net-powered ecosystems: couchsurfing, bookcrossing, wikipedia...
  • locative games: geocaching and the like
  • sustainability / social responsibility and technology
  • merging of social rating sources: what about a protocol?
  • users generated content: lurkers vs. partecipanti attivi
  • vlogging

I know what I want to do:

You already have set your mind.

  • Presentazione Django e mini-tutorial - Ludo
  • MMORPG and virtual spaces (con specifica attenzione a World of Warcraft e Second Life) - Darkripper
  • Not only Wikipedia: other Wikimedia projects - C. Vimercati +1
Creatività (forse) all'opera. - Giorgio

I am undecided but could do the following

You are undecided, can do several things and would like to gauge interest.

  • An exploration of Social Media, some open space discussion or some ongoing ideas about social fabric in the enterprises - Riccardo
  • Taichi for geeks: Zhang Zhuang workshop - Gaspar -- Interessante +7 (ludo, foll, vanz, kurai, simbul, bru, zuck)
  • an experiment in collaborative deejaying, maybe even veejaying (entertainment, nightly build - se c'è il locale adatto) - Vanz
  • GTD (Getting Things Done) per il geek medio - Alessio -- Interessante +4 (foll, ludo, zuck, cristiano)
  • Integrated social media - free press and online collaborative communication - Maurizio Goetz
  • "Weblog 2.0 - Ideas for a better Information Architechture for blogs" or "Internet and social capital -- +1 (ludo) +1 nda - Bonding, bridging and distortions"- Federico Fasce
  • A canticle for Leibowitz - the sci-fi novel by W.Miller - Zuck -- +2 bella occasione per scambiarsi letture (ludo, foll)
:P) -- per me va bene (ludo) +1 (nda)
  • Semiotics of Cooking for geeks - Chiara +2
