This first CapitolCamp is sponsored by the New York State Senate, and will be led by Senate's CIO on how the Senate is using technology to reinvent itself. At this un-conference, the Senate's CIO Office will use this opportunity to brainstorm the road ahead.

In another session, the New York State Office of the Chief Information Officer will focus on how technology is being used to transform State Agencies.

A third session will focus on comparing and contrasting New York State's use of technology in its government with that of other States.

If you are coming from NYC, we highly recomend riding Amtrak's 63 Maple Leaf. This train costs $51.00 and departs from Penn Station at 7:15am. It is scheduled to arrive at 9:48am. Please note, we are looking into renting a bus for the return journey back into NYC. Otherwise the last train to NYC departs Albany at 7:00pm (hence the need to rent a bus that would depart at 9:00pm). Follow @CapitolCamp for the latest details.
