What is CrisisCamp?   

A BarCamp bringing together domain experts, developers, and first responders around crisis technology and practices. 

 

When

Tentatively scheduled for the weekend of June 13 & 14, 2009 in Washington, DC.

 

Where 

TBD: Somewhere in Washington, DC.

Who

Anyone who is working in crisis, disaster response, or humanitarian aid. 

 

CrisisCamp is being organized by a varied group.

 

Help

We're looking for some initial assistance in organizing CrisisCamp. Things we need:

  • A venue - hold ~300+ people, wifi, closed and open spaces, easily accessible
  • A logo - use the BarCamp style, with the goals of CrisisCamp to create our logo
  • Sponsorship - we'll put out a more specific call, but sponsors will help make CrisisCamp a reality
