Che cosa è un Barcamp / What is a Barcamp
Per BarCamp s'intende un tipo di incontro caratterizzato dalla mancanza di una scaletta prefissata di relatori e in cui non esiste un pubblico passivo.
I partecipanti all'evento sono invitati a partecipare in maniera attiva alle varie discussioni, per condividere pensieri ed idee.
L'obiettivo è quello di riunire persone e mettere in comune la conoscenza, sia essa una tecnologia oppure un’idea.

Tutti i partecipanti devono mostrare una demo o preparare una presentazione/discussione, una sessione o aiutare in una di queste. Ma anche no: se non ne hai voglia, vieni e chiacchieri, nessuno ti obbligherà a fare alcunché. Se ti va partecipi ai dibattiti, se no cazzeggi. Altrimenti puoi offrirti come volontario e contribuire in qualche modo al supporto dell'evento.
Tutte le presentazioni devono avvenire il giorno del barcamp. Preparala in anticipo ma soprattutto quando arrivi metti nello spazio apposito il post-it col titolo della presentazione.
Le persone presenti all'evento sceglieranno quali demo o presentazioni vogliono ascoltare.
Sarebbe carino che chi presenta pubblicasse sul web le slide, le note, l'audio e/o il video della sua presentazione, in modo che anche chi non era presente ne possa beneficiare.

A Barcamp is a conference event with a blank schedule board and where there is no such thing as a passive spectator.
Participants are invited to actively join the discussions, to share thoughts, opinions and ideas in an open environment.
The goal is to get people together and allow them to share their knowledge, be it of the techological kind or even just the simplest of ideas.

All attendees must give a demo or prepare a presentation, a discussion or a session or otherwise volunteer/contribute in some way to support the event. Tutti i partecipanti devono mostrare una demo o preparare una presentazione/discussione, una sessione o aiutare in una di queste. Or even not: You might as well just show up and have a chat, nobody's going to force you to do stuff you don't want to do. If you feel like joining the debates, you join them. Otherwise, you chill out and relax. It's that easy. If you like you can also volunteer for helping out and somehow contribute to supporting the event.
All presentations are scheduled on the day of the barcamp. Prepare it in advance but come early to get a slot on the wall where you can place the post-it with your presentation's title.
The people present at the demonstration will select the demos or presentations they want to see.
We would appreciate it if presenters make sure that notes/slides/audio/video of their presentations are published on the web for the benefit of all and those who cannot be present.

Abbiamo pensato di incentrare l'attenzione di wavecamp su temi cari ai partecipanti al festival come per esempio il diritto d'autore, creative commons, peer to peer, promozione on line e tutto quello che ruota attorno a questo mondo.
Interverranno musicisti, produttori, discografici, tecnici del diritto d'autore, esperti del we2.0, semplici curiosi.
We hope to concentrate our attention on topics immediately relevant to festival attendees, such ascreator's rights, creative commons, peer to peer, online promotion and anything else connected in any way to these topics.
We expect the presence and participation of musicians, producers, record company executives, copyright issue specialists, web 2.0 experts, casual onlookers.

Ognuno di voi può proporre un argomento di discussione; va premesso che, essendo questo un barcamp tematico, le discussioni e i vari interventi saranno incentrati sull'approfondimento di temi quali: l'e-democarcy, il rapporto tra new media e politica, partecipazione attiva alla vita politica e civile con l'utilizzo di internet e degli strumenti offerti dal Web 2.0
Anyone of you can propose a topic; is important to premise that this is a thematic barcamp so the main topics will be: e-democracy, the reltion between new media and politic, citizen's active partecipation through internet and using Web 2.0' instruments.
