Background

Last year we had a DIY Drupal/CivicSpace day after the Personal Democracy Conference (PDF). This year we are fortunate to have a whole weekend before the PDF to plan a similar event.

 

Event Info

13 - 14 May 2006

the weekend before the personal democracy forum; yes, i know it's mother's day weekend.

 

My goal is to foster the following...

  1. Drupal Users - two days masticating on drupal (tracks: new users, theme dev, module conversion/creation, civicrm best practices, massmailing, etc.)
  2. Barn Raising - (born of an email from Dan Robinson) take a .org that needs a new website and build it
  3. Political Bloggers - a forum for NYC political bloggers to connect and discuss issues/business issues

 

I hope this will be an open and collaborative session involving many types of drupal users, poli-pundants and community activists.
