On May 12th the venerable Drupal Users Group of Toronto will be hosting
__DrupalCamp Toronto 1.0__
The popularity of Drupal, a leading open source content management system, continues to grow as developers discover its solid coding and support community, web designers appreciate its themeing system and end users find an intuitive and easy way to update their websites.
The aim of DrupalCamp Toronto is to strengthen the community of people working with and working on Drupal code in Ontario. On Friday, May 12th come on out to the Centre for Social Innovation at 215 Spadina Ave. to discover who else in your 'hood is working with Drupal. Learn from them, conspire with them or just swap business cards - this is your chance to talk Drupal.
We can't promise something for everyone, but sessions we are offering include:
- A nuts-and-bolts intro to the Drupal API for developers who want to learn more about working with Drupal, and why it rocks so hard.
- An introduction to Drupal Theming, for XHTML/CSS-heads who want to develop CMS'es of beauty
- Open discussions for consultants and worker bees considering or already using Drupal
- Bug squishing and documentation writing sessions to give back to the Drupal community
There will be a mix of traditional presentations (info-packed and mercifully brief) with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, spark discussions and meet fellow Drupallers.
