Brain dump of stuff we might need:

 

Hardware stuff

  • Datashows, one for each room (4?)
  • Couple of spare laptops / Server for sharing files
  • Shared flash/thumb drives for sharing files (depending on size of files to share over wifi
    • If using thumb drives, make them read-only, as trojan horses now use them as an infection mechanism
  • Wifi
  • some bandwidth
  • any cool toys that participants want to bring with them

 

Paper stuff

  • Print and photocopy facilities (do we need this?)
  • Do we need name tags? (CJ - yes, it helps people know who everyone else is)
  • Flipchart paper
  • Colour whiteboard that saves drawing to file
  • Whiteboard and marker pens

 

Room stuff

  • Enough chairs for participants (40?)
  • Tables, at least one for each room + extras (8?)
  • Rubbish bins (we should be good and recycle... maybe we should try and not print/photocopy)

 

Wetware stuff

  • Coffee/Tea
  • Coffee machine and supplies
  • Water fountain & cups
