FanTechCamp - The Fannish Technology BarCamp
We invite people from the following communities:
- media fandom
- science fiction fandom
- comic book fandom

to join us and talk about:
- wikis (wikipedia, wikia, fanlore, etc)
- journalling services (dreamwidth, livejournal)
- Organization for Transformative Works' Archive Of Our Own and other fanfic archiving sites
- fan vidding - HOWTOs, tools, techniques, hosting...
- fan art - photoshop etc.
- fanfic ebooks, podfic, etc
- tools for organising fannish events
- understanding copyright, creative commons, etc

So far, Oct 10-11 in San Francisco is looking likely.
Sponsors
