About EnergizeIT

Join us for an action packed day of innovation, technology, community, and learning. Re-energize your IT career and your IT passion. If you are an IT professional, developer, designer, student or simply a geek at heart, this day is dedicated to you!

Schedule of Events

-Introduction and XNA Demo

Welcome to GameCamp! We will show you some cool stuff you can do with XNA, talk about it a bit, and demonstrate what talented developers in our community have done with it.

-Community Presentations

Join community team members from TO Jam (www.tojam.ca) to see the games they have created. These groups had three days to create a video game! They will present their final products, and show you how they made them.

-Career Development and Industry Talk

Are you interested in getting into the game development industry, but have no idea where to begin? Or perhaps you are struggling and just need your first big break? Hear talks by industry specialists, as well as educators in game development to give you guidance and share their experiences.

-QnA Session / Expert Panel / Prize Giveaways

Have a question about anything you just saw? Feel free to ask the industry experts, or the community teams any questions about their games.

As things wind down, audience members will be pit against one another in blood-thirsty battles for prizes! The weapons of choice will be the games community members have made...

I hope to see lots of people genuinely interested in game development there!
